Christmas Spirit

Is it me or is it still early to be sending cards and buying presents. And yet I have met people who have bought all of theirs and are thus all ready for the festive season. I'm not judging them. No really. I'm not.

So I've survived the party season so far without making too much of a fool out of myself. I was a little worried when last weekend's team meal night out included the new German student in our department who, I must admit I have a little crush on. Me and Air Hostess are constantly competeing to get in his "good books" but knowing my luck with men, she has a very good chance indeed.

Talking of Air Hostesses, I happened to meet up with an old friend last week. She is brilliant and apparently she has a Myspace. Check it. Its very her.

No Dolly quote this week.

Instead, here is an Irish ditty that I like;

So fare thee well, my own true love
When I return united we will be
It's not the leaving of Liverpool that's grieving me
But my darling when I think of thee

Do you ever thank your partner for all they've done for you during the year?

I feel very alive at the moment. Long may it last.

I am getting stressed because I have not written my cards yet.

But I still have a week and a half.

I would be worried if I hadn't bought my presents!

I must admit I have bought most of my presents, however, I still feel it is too early to write my cards, they are sitting on the table pleading to be written, but I refuse!

Wait til next week, the panic will set in then!
